Can we choose our own location? 

Yes! Get in touch to organise your own desired location.

Will The balloons last? 
Helium has a time frame before they start to deflate but balloon garlands can be made to last weeks and weeks.

We have a great local company that can create amazing grazing boxes for your special occasion.

How many people can your picnics cater for? 

Boho (cushions) 25 people.

Can I have my event in a public place? Yes, however it is your responsibility to apply for the free council permit. Applications need to be processed online 14 days prior to event.

Will you set up and layout the hired items once delivered?

Our events include set up and styling on-site. If you require a specific configuration of and picnic events, we require a site layout to be sent to us a week before delivery. We will also need full vehicle access to the site. Once your equipment is set up, we will not be able to move it. Furniture items will be assembled on site and left in a secure location. Once set up, Security of Items is transferred to the Hirer.

 

What are the payment options? 

To lock in your desired event date, we require a non-refundable $100 deposit at time of booking. The remaining balance is due to be paid 14 days before your event date.

 

What if I need to cancel my booking?

You are able to reschedule your booking up to 14 days prior to the event date* Your deposit taken at time of booking is nonrefundable if you cancel your event.  Remaining balance is to be paid 14 days prior to your event.

 

A cancelled event is considered lost income opportunity for Out of the Box fnq

A cancelled event any time after 14 days will unfortunately forfeit any refund - we can however arrange a voucher to the same value, valid for 12 months. 

 

Where do we service?

We based in Far North Queensland. We service Cairns and surrounds- Travel fees may apply.

​Do you charge delivery and pickup fees?

Yes! If travelling to the event location places extra financial cost to Out of the Box fnq (fuel, transport, addition staff) this cost is added to the quote.

Absolutely! We love helping people surprise loved ones with gift vouchers.

What if the weather turns bad? (Bell Tent)

 If the winds or rain become or are forecast to become excessive, It is the responsibility of the Hirer (you) to protect hired items from damage and contact our team for guidance/assistance. For example, moving outside items such as rugs and pillows undercover, when raining.

 

What do we need to do when the event has finished?

The furniture must be left in the same condition and in the same location as when delivered. Tables must be cleared of all third party items (such as tableware and rubbish).

 

Hired plates, glasses and cutlery must be washed with hot soapy water and packed into provided box. If your event is in a public space cleaning wipes to remove food scraps will be provided. If when our staff arrive, they are required to wait or clear any third-party items an additional charge of $35 per hour per staff member will be invoiced for and payment due within 7 days.

 

​​What If an item is unreturned, broken, stained or damaged beyond repair? 

payment of full replacement value is required within seven days.

If an item is returned damaged but repairable, you will be sent an invoice for the cost of repairs and payment is required within seven days.

We strongly advise that all clients take out separate travel, event and/ or wedding insurance.
